Development of the National System for Air Traffic Management Directorate - Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority (BULATSA)

The National System for Air Traffic Management consists of technical equipment and divergent array of information, management and support systems with a variety of purposes using different technologies, standards and protocols for information exchange.
The National System for ATM is in a constant process of bilateral exchange of information with the military authorities for ATM, neighbouring ATM centres and Eurocontrol.

The directorate for Development of the National System for ATM is to maintain and develop the national ATM system in line with modern technologies that meet current and future technical and regulatory requirements.

This is achieved through integration of all systems and subsystems involved in the air traffic services of BULATSA in a single information environment and harmonization of the national ATM system with neighbouring systems and the European air traffic services.
